I don’t know what it is with the Dutch, but they keep churning out innovative designs in recent weeks. BloomFrame designed by Hofman Dujardin Architects, Amserdam is a window frame which can be transformed into a dynamic balcony and it can be installed in new and old buildings. The BloomFrame was the winner of 2008 Red Dot Design Award, and deservedly too.
There are not many resting chairs in big cities like London, so having a portable one is a good idea. Not sure how strong the hinges are though, but it doesn’t look sturdy enough for my liking. But this might be a good DIY idea to try out if you happen to have a briefcase lying around.
I don’t know whether cats will like this, i have a cat myself and No, she doesn’t sleep on my keyboard nor ever walked on it. She has a blanket beside the keyboard though, and only seems to ever sleep there when someone is in front of the PC.
