Panasonic: plasma televisions can last up to 42 years

According to Panasonic (one of the leaders in the plasma television industry), if you watch their plasma screens for 6.5 hours a day it will last for 42 years. This might be a good idea if you’re one of those who are willing to continue watching your 60” screen in 42 years while you’re neighbors are enjoying there wall to wall TV’s. But then again it might serve as a nice retro wall ornament in 10 years. Good luck with convincing your wife to let you keep it.

You’ll need to be a Verizon customer to experience this new phenomenon, but some of the features look pretty interesting like multiple camera angles (or all four at the same time), live chat room, on demand replays, and the usual live stats and drive charts, during games on the NFL Network.
