Individual app update for Sprint Instinct

Its not a surprise that the troubled company known as Sprint would be seriously thinking about getting itself in the latest iPhone market. So when they announced a few months back that the Instinct would be available it was not a surprise that thousands flocked to their nearest Sprint store to pick up one (after all you cannot get the iPhone anywhere other than the dreaded AT&T).

So far it seems the $150 million that Sprint has spent on advertising the Instinct has paid off as it has become their best seller. Now all we need are the updates and Sprint has kept true to their words by releasing the critical ones.

But they have changed their strategy by releasing individual updates instead of an entire phone update. That means you’ll be able to update your email client if it should perhaps get a glitch before the entire update for all the other apps have been released. Good going Sprint.
