new PS3, no backwards compatibility?
If we are to believe the guys over at Joystiq.com then it looks like compatibility to PS2 games could get the axe in some upcoming PS3 models. From what looks like only two of the systems will get the PS2 backwards compatibility while all six systems gets backwards compatibility for the PS1.
Oh and get this, for all those HD playback talks, looks like none of the new systems are coming with HD compatible Cables.
