Super Slim Space Saving Concept Car

Written by: Bruce Cat on: Apr 24 2008 Published in: Concepts

Take a look at the latest gas saving concept vehicle, this small and lightweight car is a new idea known as the Space-Efficient Vehicle or SEV. It was a design idea by Steven Van Der Veen and Ralph Panhuyzen. It was one of the 2008 finalists in the Michelin Design Challenge, and was displayed at the Auto Show in Detroit two months ago. The vehicle is so tiny, it is possible fit not one, but two, into just one regular parking space.

Space-Efficient Vehicle

The designers believe that the vehicle will use very little fuel because of its very low weight and air-cutting shape. The car will probably utilize some type of hybrid or electric power. Its three-wheeled shape trims its width down, as does the clever staggered seating pattern.

This is not meant for publication. I read about the Space Efficient Vehicle. Perhaps you would care to rectify the information you had published.

I invented and designed the whole vehicle concept. Steven van der Veen was hired by me to translate my drawings with professional drawing software into detailed renderings. Check the source I have given you.

Thanking you in advance. Sincerely, Ralph Panhuyzen
