‘Grand Theft Auto’ murder in Thailand

Written by: iGTech on: Aug 25 2008 Published in: Gaming Tags: ,

As if we needed anymore proof that video games do lead to real world violence. Latest evidence comes from a Bangkok teenager who reportedly robbed and murdered a taxi driver in an effort to recreate a scene from the controversial game. So now the distributer in Thailand is asking store owners to pull the games from their shelves and replace them with other games. Might I suggest the upcoming Gears of War 2 game…. at least no killing of people… than again NOT!!

PSP-3000 coming in October

Written by: iGTech on: Aug 22 2008 Published in: Gaming Tags: ,

Of course you like your PSP-2000. It beats the DS in graphics and all around sexiness, but it is still lacking some real firepower when it comes to game titles. But in any case you might just be in luck cause the new PSP-3000 has just gotten official from Sony and is heading your way this October. That’s right people, nothing new except for a much better display, integrated mic and a redesigned “Home” button. Maybe not what you were expecting, but at least you got a better screen to play GTA: Liberty Cities on right?

The Ant Commandos Double Range Guitar can play PS2 and PS3 of both Guitar Hero I,II,III and Rock Band..it is the first gaming guitar that can support multiple platforms, which is good news for some of us students still living in cramped bed sits. With all the functionality retained such as, a second set of Rock Band solo buttons near the strum bar and distortion effects, you can’t really go wrong with this…Oh and it doesn’t come with a hefty price tag either at $59.99 USD.
