Spore, the next big game coming out of the big minds behind the Sims – Will Wright, Maxis, and EA Games – is a game that has caused an immense amount of media attention and hype. Originally scheduled for launch before Christmas of 2007, this cross-platform (even announced to be compatible with the iPhone) game recently got its official release date of September 7th, 2008.
