The new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W300
Sony, the world’s leading manufacturer of consumer electronics products, has recently introduced its latest digital camera, the new Cyber-shot DSC-W300.
This 13.6 megapixel compact digital camera is covered with titanium metal that protects it from scratches, and features a 2.7-inch LCD screen display, cutting-edge technologies, HDTV output, and Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens.
A point-and-shoot camera with high resolution, the Cyber-shot DSC-W300 also provides features that are only found in this device. With extra high-speed mode that allows users to shoot three photos at five frames per second, this camera is highly suitable for shooting fast motion.
Featuring Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization, the camera is able to reduce blurry images. Equipped with extra high sensitivity mode, it can also correct disagreeable lighting conditions.
Another amazing feature is the noise reduction technology which lessens the noise without sacrificing the quality of the resolution. With a menu option such as high, low, and standard setting, users can edit an image for a more great-looking picture.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W300 is equipped with intelligent technology such as the Smile Shutter™ which can be adjusted in two modes; child priority and adult priority. This face detection technology allows this camera to focus on a child or adult’s face depending on the users’ choice.
The camera’s intelligent scene recognition technology automatically detects five different types of scenes, plus, five color modes that can help users to take beautiful images. There is also a 12 scene selection modes—the latest is the underwater mode that adjusts white balance for more realistic and natural-looking images.
Other features are D-Range Optimizer Plus which improves images with extreme highlights, dark shadows, and high-contrast colors; auto focus system, image management, easy viewing feature, date and calendar views, in-camera search by date or face, slide show, and HD component output for viewing images on HD television.
